School Lunches for the 2022-2023 school year
The Child Nutrition COVID-19 Waivers that allowed all students to access free breakfast and lunch, will expire on June 30, 2022. This means that for next school year, students will incur a cost for purchasing a school lunch. If you feel that your family may be eligible for free or reduced lunch, we encourage you to complete the following online application.

Car Rider Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Effective 9.8.2021

Use the entrance closest to the marquee and make a LEFT TURN into the parking lot.  You will no longer go straight.  Staff will be present

to direct you in your vehicle.  Please familiarize yourself with the attached diagram.  It is the expectation that you follow the staff’s directions in order to maintain safety of all students. Students will be entering & exiting the building via the RED DOORS CLOSEST to the front of the building (in the Music & Art hallway).

Students should be able to exit and enter the vehicle from the DRIVER’S side, closest to the curb, in the interest of safety. You can help by making sure their car seat is accessible from that side of the vehicle.  School materials should be ready for your child to access and transport.  Your vehicle will remain in the position until directed by a staff member.

Please pull forward closely behind the vehicle in front of you. By staying in the line, and not moving around other vehicles, we can keep our students safe in the parking lot. Please wait to move your vehicle until the vehicle in front of you has pulled away, and then follow directly behind in a single lane. This will help keep all our Pandas safe in the parking lot.  If these procedures are not followed, it will result in the student no longer being a car rider.

For drop-off, please encourage your student to unbuckle themselves, and prepare to exit the vehicle quickly, and proceed to the side entrance of the school, marked “Kiss & Drop.”  Please DO NOT allow your student to exit the vehicle until you are directed to do so by a staff member. Students walking on the sidewalk will be monitored to ensure their safety.

At dismissal, please have your Car Rider pickup sign displayed in the driver’s side of your windshield as you enter the parking lot so staff can efficiently help students get to the proper vehicle.

  • If your student needs assistance buckling into their car seat, please be ready to help them as soon as they come out of the building and approach your vehicle. This is only time a parent should be out of their car.

  • Once all students in Wave 1 (approximately 15 cars per wave) are safely inside their vehicles, staff will signal those vehicles to exit the parking lot and allow for the next WAVE of vehicles to assume the position of A-O slots (the next cone).

  •

  • If our parking lot pathways become full, you can help avoid a backup on Prospect Mill Road by utilizing the open “Visitor” parking spaces in the LEFT, middle section as you enter the parking lot. Enter the Visitor parking spaces from the FAR-LEFT lane, and pull ALL THE WAY THROUGH, so when it is your turn, you can continue moving forward, and easily enter the flow of traffic in the middle lane.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our best to make sure all our Pandas safely arrive to school and can get home safely and quickly in the afternoon.  Together, I know we can maintain the safety of our Pandas!
